We look to ruin great movies with bonkers theories.
Philadelphia: Andrew Beckett’s villainy

In this fan theory, Andrew Beckett is the secret villain. As Joe Miler applies the mask to Andrew in their final moment together, we see Andre smile. But this smile is vengeful triumph. Andrew has infected Joe with his illness. We also posit that Andrew sent the basketball player to Joe Miller to try and wreck Joe’s marriage. When that failed, Andrew went devastatingly further. We find that Andrew is Jonathan Kramer type schemer. We have sequel ideas too.
Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me/Laura is possessed at the end

In our theory, Laura is smiling uncontrollably and laughing. This is because BoB has finally got inside her. After all, she is in the red room. It’s over. Laura is with BoB now. And the Cooper beside her is not our Cooper. It is the Doppelganger seeing it all through to the end. Ruins everything.
The Shawshank Redemption: Andy really did kill his wife

In this theory, Andy killed his wife, and Tommy’s story about the convict who admitted to the murder was a fabrication because Tommy was grateful for Andy’s help and wanted to get him out of prison. It’s a terrible theory, but it was awfully convenient that the one person Andy was mentoring turned out to be the one person who could exonerate him.
Rocky killed Adrian between Rocky 5 and Rocky 6
The official line was that cancer tragically took Adrian but maybe Rocky decided he had enough of his wife. He killed her and used her life insurance to open that restaurant. Adrian was also very much against Rocky fighting again. Rocky thinks his annoying wife won’t ruin his career again. Perhaps it was a left hook that finished Adrian off?
It’s a Wonderful Life: George will never work again
Come on, people, would you bank with George again after he messed up that badly. George may be glad to be alive at the end of the movie but his family might not be when they find out the full extend of his embarrassing incompetence.
